What to do in Agde during the All Saints’ Day vacations?
At All Saints’ Day, the Mediterranean coastline offers a calm and pleasant setting. Temperatures remain mild, the weather is clement and Cap d’Agde regains a peaceful atmosphere ideal for enjoying the region to the full without the summer crowds. It’s a great time for seaside walks, family activities and discovering the local heritage. Our campsites benefit from a privileged location in the heart of Cap d’Agde, perfect for exploring the region in autumn.

Clement weather for the All Saints’ vacations
In October, temperatures hover around 20°C and the days remain pleasantly sunny. It’s the ideal time to enjoy the seaside, take a stroll or visit the city without the summer crowds.
From the La Clape Village campsite, you can cycle to the port, the beach or Le Grau d’Agde on several secure cycle paths. The journey to the port of Cap d’Agde takes just a few minutes.

Walks between sea and pine forest
Over 2,600 years old, Agde is one of the oldest towns in France. Its historic center, built of basalt stone, is well worth a visit.
Places to discover :
- Saint-Étienne Cathedral, the city’s landmark overlooking the banks of the Hérault River
- The Ephebe Museum, dedicated to underwater archaeology, where you can admire the famous statue of the Ephebe discovered in the river.
- Fort Brescou, accessible by boat from the port of Cap d’Agde, weather permitting.
A stroll to Grau d’Agde, a small fishing port, is also a great way to enjoy the terraces and local gastronomy.
Activities and events during the All Saints’ vacations
Even in autumn, the Cap d’Agde resort remains dynamic and offers several events:
- The Cap d’Agde Autumn Boat Show (October 29-November 02, 2025): over 200 exhibitors, 500 boats and demonstrations on the quayside.
- Agde markets, on Thursday and Sunday mornings, with regional produce: seasonal fruit, wines, cheeses and Mediterranean specialities.
- Wine estates in Marseillan and Pézenas, offering tours and tastings of Languedoc wines
In autumn, museums and tourist sites are quieter, so you can enjoy your visits in complete serenity.
