Autumn boat show in Agde: the autumn rendezvous for sea enthusiasts

Created over 25 years ago, the Salon Maritime d’Automne has established itself as one of the major national nautical events, alongside Cannes, Paris and La Rochelle. Organized by theAssociation des professionnels du Nautisme with the support of the Ville d’Agde, the Département de l’Hérault and the Région Occitanie, the event perfectly illustrates the maritime vocation of the resort, which has been awarded the France Station Nautique label.

Held in the technical area of the port of Cap d’Agde, the show attracts over 200 exhibitors and around 50,000 visitors from all over France. The quays are transformed into a veritable nautical village, where professionals, sailors, families and the simply curious all share the same passion for the sea.

In recent years, the show has focused on new technologies and eco-responsible solutions: electric motors, recycled products, green innovations and local initiatives in favor of the sea.

The aim is clear: to encourage more environmentally-friendly boating without sacrificing the pleasure of sailing.

This sustainable approach is attracting more and more visitors, and confirms Cap d’Agde ‘s determination to be a pioneer of responsible boating in the Mediterranean.

The success of the Salon Nautique d’Automne also lies in its accessibility. Admission is free, and opening hours are adapted to allow everyone to enjoy their visit to the full:

  • 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the public
  • 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. for exhibitors

The event takes place on the harbor quayside, in a pleasant, easily accessible setting. Visitors can stroll between the pontoons, climb aboard the boats on display, ask the professionals questions or simply admire the diversity of the models on show.

For those staying at Camping La Clape Village, the Salon Nautique is an outing not to be missed. Accessible on foot or by bike from the campsite , it’s a great way to spend a day between sea and passion.
